This is like the first half on Saturday all over again.
Difficult to see what our plan is to create chances, never mind actually convert any.

 

If anyone questions how vital confidence is in football, this game is a perfect example. So many basic errors with passing and even players who've been reliable all season with the ball like Touray are playing terrible passes or clearances.

I get why people are talking about a striker but we could have Haaland in this team and I think we'd still struggle to win

 

Just a continuance of Saturday. Their confidence is rock bottom and not about to improve any time soon.

 

I’ve spent 20 mins wondering why Humphrys isn’t playing. Now I’ve just seen him.

 

Perhaps if he used some/one of them (Humphreys )in the right position, it might be a bloody start!

We haven't been playing well for a while but have found ways to win 1 nil or scrape a draw. We're now not really threatening the goal so playing poorly and not even scoring.

 

Don’t even see how a new striker helps here? We don’t seem to have any kind of attacking plan or any intent.

 

We've completely lost sight of everything that made us decent earlier in the season. The press and directness of play when we get the ball has evaporated

I've been saying it for weeks. Fewer shots generally and fewer on target. All that stuff of "playing poorly but getting results" was misleading.

We ain’t going to get anything from this ref if so far is anything to go by.

 

This is the 3rd game in a row where we have been absolutely dominated in the first half against opponents that we've proven we can do much better against earlier in the season. Very concerning especially with how open we now look defensively.

 

Is Ashby better than Halliday?

 

4 of the 11 are average L2 players: Leigh, Kelly, Wright and Humphrey’s.

3-4 others low on confidence. I find it flabbergasting that we’ve played Byrne, Kelly, Kavanagh, Wright in defeats against Orient and Mansfield which started the rut. Everyone could see how bad those decisions were. The team tonight is poor
