No Cook,Mellon, lapslie, Leigh, Khela. If fit, i would expect Huntington to start and if still here Oliver, Oduor , Walker and Byrne.

Noticed Sars last night was constantly chelping at their players-especially the number 4. I think as a team we have much more of a backbone than of recent years. Alongside Smallwood leaving a foot in where he can in tackles we are looking much stronger. Is it a coincidence that, arguably, Smallwood is having his best spell with us since Patto and Sars came back into the team?

And some of those passes that Pointon made last night were championship standard. He sees a pass no one else in the team does.

At long last things are looking on the up and long may that continue. Our strongest 11 is easily good enough to go up this season and maybe hold its own in league 1? Getting a bit ahead of myself here.

Not sure about that Keefly, I think you're maybe getting slightly carried away by the good run.

Hopefully we can finally get that promotion this year but for me then it's a big overhaul. The back 5, barring Richards (and maybe Halliday at a push) aren't good enough. Smallwood and Sarcevic are both another year older and Cook will have been out for 8 months.

 

I think he's just managing morale on his end.

Not a dive, as there is contact. Actually I commented again afterwards to say it wasn't a foul (only because Pattison was looking for the contact) but calling it good defending is laughable. It was very poor defending

How was it poor defending?. Nothing came of the threat or promising position. Job done as far as the Morecambe defender goes
