I'm not sure you've thought that through correctly.

Do we the think we’ll see White again? That was as bad as starting debut that I can remember. Totally lost and out of his depth. Hooked at half time and I’m sure his confidence is rock bottom.

 

Be shocked if he starts Tuesday or even in squad. I agree. He looked like a fish out of water yesterday.

Are more people at pissed off with the experiment that is humphries it needs to stop

 

I haven't listened to the interview yet so I'll take your word for it. Maybe he was as frustrated that he got it wrong, gave the wrong instructions or the game plan wasn't carried out by the players. We're slowly but surely starting to find our level in this league, and I think the club have made a decision to wait until the summer and clear out most of the squad to bring in the quality needed to be better prepared for next season. Who knows whether the alleged American sponsorship, will give us the funds that we don't have at the moment, needed to carry that out in this window.

 

What the hell has happened to Josh Neufville? He's a shadow of the player we saw at the beginning of the season. Ashby has to start on Tuesday, but that's going to knock his confidence even more. Looks like the pressure is getting to the lad.

There seems to be a lack of confidence through out the squad, there's only one person to sort that out but seeing that it was a Yorkshire derby that should have been enough for pride alone

 

White should never have started the game ,that is down to the manager , three subs at half time shows he got it badly wrong .

 

What bothers me is how our recruitment team have identified him as a player we need.

 

Many of us may be concerned about the tactics and formation that are not working right now. However, apart from yourself, I dont see anybody else wanting to see him being sacked, that would be madness.

 

twice on the trot and Pointon should be knowhere near the starting IX if hes still carrying an injury or is simply out of form ................ sadly dont be shocked if he does the same again

 

He had a total nightmare but I wont write him off on the basis of 1 performance, as bad as it was. I dont know anything about him so I did wonder if he was asked to perform a role that he isn't cut out for and therefore hung out to dry somewhat? He wont start on Tuesday but we will most likely see him again at some point. Surely he can't be anything like as bad as he showed yesterday!

 

Before he was, bizarrely, hauled off against Cardiff he'd created two big chances as well as got an assist (albeit a simple one) for Metcalfe's goal.

It would help if he was actually given any kind of platform to enable him to be effective, we actually look worse for not having Tommy Leigh playing in midfield as he could actually take the ball from the centre backs, hold it and pick out passes, giving time and space for our wing backs to spring forward and our advanced midfielders to actually move.

 

It all seems to be a bit of a mish mash at the moment.

 

You can tell we are in bother when people start hailing players who have been out the side as being potential solutions.

 

He is usually full of 'were an honest bunch' and 'we are not as good when we go off the game plan' - usually i think he's very precise and calm but yesterday far more blustery. As somebody else said, perhaps the Tilt situation got to him before his interview.
But I'm sure he alluded to us having to go 'long ball' 2nd half to match what Town were doing - first half all we did was aimlessly lump it whilst they were playing the football! Fans can see what is happening , I just think GA went into full on defensive mode which gave a bit of a distorted view of the game everyone saw

 

I wonder if White arrived as an add on with the Ashby deal
Nearer home and with a player he knows, in the hope his form improves
He was apparently not up to much on his last loan

 

I don’t think it’s that so much, as no adequate replacement in house before said players have left
If we are waiting on the lad from Man Utd and that is all and he fails to impress, then I think the club can rightly be criticised
The three new players hardly look any better and in Whites case probably worse than what we had
To me at the moment the January window has been poor to this point and if it doesn’t improve, is it a fire sale or saving for the summer
