Let's get it right, if we had even played 50% as well as we can do we would have beaten Town easily.
They are NOT a good team but what does that say about us this last 10 games or so?
We are desperate for a reboot in every department.

 

There should not be a single player apart from Walker who is higher than a 2/10… walker 8/10 kept us in it.. if only we had a striker……………………………….

 

We’ve been sussed out a while ago. We have little cutting edge at full strength and without Sarcevic nothing at all . Pointon is totally off form and I just thought who can possibly score for us. I’m afraid we will also lose at Lincoln and Luton.

 

Didnt need to worry sat in the town end there was little to cheer about men vs boys.

his form was debated about on here i got a good view of him where i was sat - Pointon was truly awful, in the big No 2s pocket all first half. Not on his own though.

Though Ashby looked good.

The long and the short of today is that if you play like we did for the first half every side in the division will give you trouble.

No passion in a local derby is unforgivable.

 

Walker, Ashby and Tyriek Wright apart, all very poor today. Tilt's worst performance for us by a mile for example.

Memo to GA. Humphrys is not a centre forward, surely you can admit this now.

 

You could have played Haarland in that side today and he wouldn't have bagged.

week after week said same thing its not the strikers its the midfield not good enough

the first 6 games looked like we could beat anyone, pressing all the time not anymore.

The lack of passion shown by the players today was frightening.

 

Without Sarcevic and Swan the press from the front was non existent today. Pointon again and White were useless first half Humphrey was totally isolated. We do need a striker but competition for our attacking midfielders is needed badly

Lincoln, Doncaster, Luton. How many do you reckon we’ll score without a few more recruits? It’s tough because look at the other promoted teams from last season. Our great start would mean missing out on play offs would be a disappointment. Looking like win is suddenly hard to come by.

 

Feel a bit for the new lads coming in, I have a feeling they aren't used to chasing aimless hoofballs for 90 minutes as that's what our tactics have been for the last few months. The changing of three 'attacking' players for another three at half time made no difference whatsoever, it simply couldn't do due to the non existent plan of how to create anything from open play. Can't rely on the opposition to gift you gilt edge chances every week, you have to create chances of your own. For me it's one of the reasons the atmosphere is so flat despite being a somewhat surprising 3rd in the table the football is generally a chore to watch.

 

Yep and in the big West Yorkshire derby.

 

Can take a loss but to not turn up at all fooking shocking
