I agree in principal but Sarc seems more likely to finish a half chance than Humphrys does.

We aren’t exactly creating loads of chances so taking the few we get will be so vital.

You look at the depth town have - they even loaned out a 3m striker to another l1 side - and compare to our bench today……. Miles apart.

Not having a free scoring playing the nine role comes into play when you are without two of your goal outlets, if Humphrys gets a chance like last week he really needs to put it away

 

Why are they totally and utterly underperforming , is it all on Grant?

Im not saying letting Cook leave wasn’t the right decision, but the timing was terrible given we’ve not replaced him. GA knew weeks ago Cook would leave, so why didnt we delay the move until Wheatley (if it is him coming in) was fit?

we’ve no one on that bench that will change the game if we go behind.

 

We currently play with 1 though so a change in formation would mean playing with 2 and at the moment we only have 2 that are fit. I suspect that whether we play either one of them on their own or both together, they won't score 10 goals between them by the end of the season. That's why we need one coming in at a minimum but preferably two, with Kav going in the opposite direction.

 

@fishing crazy did call the Swan injury.

 

I don’t know Kev but they have a massive budget and have gone for it this year.
