Williamson got the dreaded "vote of confidence" last week from the board. Nearly 40 years since our last win in Carlisle, surely this is the one? We've been up there 10 times in 40 years without joy, just 1 league goal too since 1995 (not counting the play offs as a league game) and it was a goal which no fans actually saw in person as it was the covid season when Paudie scored at their place.

The last 3 goalscorers in all competitions for Bradford City at Brunton Park are Matt Derbyshire, Paudie O'Connor and Eddie Johnson. Lets change that!

They're 7 points adrift from safety, and their only win in months was scraped against an Accrington side buzzing for their trip to Anfield the week later.

There's no way we're not picking up 3 points here barring some bizarre miracle.

 

They are a fooking poor team but no doubt excuses will be made if we dont beat a team that are rock bottom of the league

Key thing Gaz as Bigrod said they have signed a lot of players in this window so become a bit of an unknown, they gave that lad Embleton from Blackpool a 3.5 year contract so are willing to spend. It will be a different side to the one thats chucked away results recently, they were beating Crewe until injury time and lost.

Its got the hallmarks of a great game (if we win!)

 

I agree, it won't be an easy game, they have a load of new players and if we lose or even draw all the usual suspects will be on here lapping it up and as happy as Larry.

Can't wait for the game though and gutted not to be travelling across as I'm working.
It's always one of my favourite away games in league 2 and I quite like the drive up .

“Like” wow that’s stretching it

 

Their fans have noticed that we've only won away from home twice this season in the league and haven't won away since Oct 12th and haven't won at their place since 1985 and are now fully expecting us to turn them over on Saturday!

 

Spoke to a Carlisle fan at work today and he thinks we’ll batter them!

 

We'll definitely smash them. And i'm usually pessimistic with our crop, but these lot are utter turd.

 

How did we get on at Morecambe who are equally and utterly turdish?

 

Any team on a bad run always does well against city.

 

We will beat them, we are a different animal to the one a month or two ago.
