Well they're making all the right noises about being in it for the 'long haul', I just hope for their sakes they learn quickly.

 

Bloody cold here this morning, -12c but how refreshing to have adults discussing without any “tribalism”.

 

Come on @Moonie and @Bluebry have a little faith in your club, I've got a £5 Bradford Burns Unit riding on you guys staying up, as has been posted many times on here this season the quality of League Two is as poor as we've seen for a few seasons a few more players and a couple of results starting with Fleetwood will see you get out of trouble.

 

Its not a poor division Bronco, just more balanced.
Now does that not sound much better, that we are currently performing ok, in a more balanced division.
I have a few more pairs of rose tinted spectacles, if any one wants to borrow some.
Still think Carlisle will get out of trouble, might be by the skin of their teeth and as long as they beat some of those rivals for promotion of ours.

 

As long as there are still enough points to be won I could never write my club off.

That person was Greg Abbot , aka our Mr Gent! ? I’d take him off em for a tenth of what they paid

 

Find it hard to criticise Greg because of his playing days with us and he's also a decent fella but his role in recruitment leaves a lot to be desired.

 

But are they learning ? .This window is their third , not even complete and the entire side has been caved from top to bottom already, on Sat showing…..to what end? They bring in so many new players into a side (6-8;was it?) who weren’t even playing for their respective clubs , so not game fit , and expect them to last longer than 30 mins AND get to a cohesive tippy tappy unit in a matter of hours & days? Anyone with half a footballing brain would know that’s nigh on impossible . What is someone thinking to allow that to happen? Non of it makes financial, business, and footballing sense to me. It’s a real shame and likely a badly wasted opportunity for you guys?

 

I deliberately separated the “two” Greg Abbott’s ….that was then RT , this is now….I absolutely agree.

 

If we stay up, I'll personally donate £50 to the Burns Unit. Feels like an empty gesture to be honest, but as the saying goes - it's a funny old game. Somebody will need to remind me of this though, my memory isn't what it used to be.
