Yes. Like all L2 keepers Walker will make a few major errors, but he's solid. I don't quite get the negativity that sometimes comes his way.

 

Not still worried about beating Carlisle I hope? They're going down, they have no way of scoring.

 

Difference is that Walkers errors haven't just been errors in play you recover from, they'd cost us points in the handful he's made.

 

0 -1 never going to be easy today we always looked the more dangerous side going forward 3 great points bottom of the league or not, enjoy the trip home guys, and another clean sheet.

Well done lads, very good result. Not the 'on paper against bottom of the league' game it might have looked.

Not at our best, had to grind it out, but the effort, spirit and robustness of our performance can't be faulted.

 

Great result that hardworking performance with a clean sheet away from home.

Good result, missed the first half hour as forgot we were early kick off but Pattison and Richards looked class

 

The only positons Kavanagh could play are forward or goal keeper. He can't play any position that requires passing because his feet are made of some kind of metal that the ball just bounces off.

 

As easy a three points as we will get all season. A professional performance against a woeful side who are definitely going down.

Great result.

Not great in the first half, but much better in the second.

I thought we defended superbly, with some terrific covering and blocks. Intelligent as well, can barely remember us giving a foul in the final third.

The game against Walsall next week will show whether we're actually in the mix for automatic promotion. Big, big game.

 

Probably something to do with the hopeless flapping at a ball in the air after a corner that nearly cost us instead of jumping and punching properly or catching it.

If Carlisle continue to try and play as they did they will climb out of the danger zone IMO.

 

I agree. They've made some good additions this window. I'd back them to get out of it.

 

Right, clean sheet, up to 5th (probably back to 8th this afternoon), keeps us in touch. Now the new Carlisle players can gel all they want and take some points off some of our closer rivals.
