You are probably correct and GA more than likely wanted to give the Newcastle boys a run out

For me that match had the feeling of a couple of seasons ago when Leyton Orient won the league and were clearly the best team in it.

They nearly go themselves in trouble though as they sat back way too much in the second half and a 2-2 scoreline wouldn't have been unfair.

For us, Sibley shows the importance of having a threat on both sides. As soon as he started looking dangerous on the left then suddenly Neufville/Ashby/White have space also on the right. I've said this for a while, the advantage of this system is in the wide players and they need to be good enough to compensate for the lack of control in the middle where Cardiff had the advantage. If they aren't good enough to keep the ball up the pitch and create chances then it's too easy for teams to win the ball and pass through the middle.

I really want to see another strong LWB option coming in so that we can rotate them with Sibley like we can now rotate Ashby with Neufville.

I think the guy that sits behind me is either his dad or blind, says the lad is trying
    I agree, very trying

We are very very well placed in the league despite today and scores so far suggest we can defo go on and get promotion

Not sure what you were watching Jon but the combination of Ashby and White down the right was what was putting them on the back foot towards the end. Two lads who are comfortable with the ball, passing in tight spaces and able to go forwards and apply pressure. I thought it was a good decision to bring them on.

Sorry but Halliday wouldn't have added anything extra. It is his attacking ability that isnt strong enough, especially in games like today

He's ok against mid table teams at home.
Against the better sides and away he's terrible.

If that's given against us we would be fuming, the defender hasn't got anywhere to go and looked very similar to the claim they had earlier against Baldwin. Either both are given or neither are

Grandson said the same Nevufville couldn't believe his number went up and I can understand his disappointment in getting subbed.

Like I say, didn't think they were bad, but didn't and still don't see any reason to withdraw Neuf.

To be fair, short of actually scoring or creating the equaliser, it would be very hard to justify withdrawing the most dangerous threat which was, at that point, Neufville.

I think you're right, but how we are playing lately is scaring the life out of me. The attacking intent and quality has taken an absolute nosedive since probably around the Burton game.

Feels like the attacking mids are hopeless at causing problems, couldn't tell you the last time Pointon or Sarcevic got a goal contribution in open play. The strikers are like dogs chasing birds with these long balls. The wing backs feel like they've taken a step back in how to push a back line back past their shape and Neufville and Wright/Touray look to only get the ball around the half way line.

First half reminded me of that Bristol City game and I feared a similar result
Fortunately we improved second half with the changes without really threatening
Humps scores and it could have been a different game and potentially a point

Or the defender went into him after a bit of skill from Sarcevic. When I saw it I thought definite PEN and video evidence only backs my view up.

Totally agree about the White and Ashby combination down the right. We looked far better and in control possession wise when they paired up.

Neufville looked like he couldnt be bothered at times today, especially first half. He needs to do much better and get back to how he was doing earlier in the season.

Don't think the subs down the right made any difference at all. Need a few games for me to learn what new player does what

He's bang on and I said exactly the same, ref gives that as a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

Agree at the time I was screaming for a pen but looking at that short video clip I think the referee might have got it right.

Humps effort was poor it didn't need any power behind it just a simple pass into the back of the net,
