We were class today! My hands are red raw from clapping so much!
Smallwood, Richards, Shehard, Baldwin, Kav, Pattison all class .

Whole team played well.

Cracking atmosphere! Love this club! Up the Bantams.
Bet the usuall moaners will be well pissed off after today

 

Well, well, what a very good team performance. I can’t remember when I last said that. Less direct, more football, and driving from midfield. Loved it.

 

Just seen Richards' goal again. I'm not a mind-reader but I'm guessing the first words out of the Grimsby defenders mouth were
"Dafuck he come from?"

 

Best performance of the season, really enjoyed it. Aggressive and direct without resorting to hoofball. That midfield quartet need to start for the foreseeable. Kav despite not scoring was very good playing all alone. Richards was fantastic but a deserving MOM for Patto.

 

That today should be the standard for the rest of the season ................

 

That was how I want my team to play. It was just fantastic to watch. We must keep Pattison fit.Kav although he didn’t score was a real workhorse was everywhere. Richards brilliant. Smallwood was so good today more please. That was an 8/10 all round.

 

Only negative for me was myself backing 2-1 with Pattison scoring!

I love a moan about how crap we are but today was excellent. Maybe the best we’ve played since the cup game with Wycombe

 

Should be a quiet on here tonight, result never in doubt thanks guys for a very entertaining afternoon out at Valley Parade.

 

That was an excellent performance. The first time I've seen us in a long while deliver a performance that you'd attribute to a top 3 side. The intensity to our pressure, the forward running, speed and quality of our play bringing a genuine threat, we did the physical stuff well. No one below a 7 today, and a few 8 or more.

Grimsby were flimsy but that's never let us score that many before! So we obviously did something right. Think we played them on a good day for us. I think worse teams will give us a tougher game if that makes sense.

 

Absolutely read my posts - great performance credit to the players for stepping up and giving fans the performance we know can be achieved!

We have momentum we just need some good additions and we have got back in the mix

 

Look at the table, that was a real 6 pointer.

 

You can only beat what's in front of you but today even after giving a sloppy goal away we never looked like losing the game I have to say I was a little disappointed with what I saw from Grimsby, once again a manager who obviously drilled it into his squad to play out from the back and it turn out to be a disaster as you say once we high pressed they gave the ball away so many times, yet they persisted in playing that way reminded me very much of the KM Dons game but they didn't have any cutting edge that MK had.

That was lovely to see. Just when I end my last 10-match segments report on a gloomy note, we end up going on such a good run. Dare we hope that our consistent inconsistency will morph into consistent consistency at the level of today's performance? Indeed this is what we are capable of.

It does help though to have Pattison and Sarcevic back on the pitch. Injuries may be an easy excuse to make, but it can be a valid one.
