Bolton only drew in the early game, Huddersfield drew and Stockport lost to Reading so opening up so good gaps. 9 points ahead of 8th and 7 points ahead 4th, 5th and 6th who are level of 39 points.

Before the Exeter game we had a block of 10 nice fixtures which ends on Saturday against rotherham, I felt if we got between 18-21 points it would be a very good return and set us up well. So far we're on 18 points with 1 game left and 1 less game played with the Port Vale game being postponed.

I think the Mansfield game needed Halliday to do what Baldwin did, i.e. score the first goal for us.

I think this is such a close league, that it as simple as that, i.e. score first and you rarely lose - i.e. we've only lost once.

Kavanagh and Wright were terrible but Metcalfe and Tilt picked up the slack.

 

He doesn't like to come out really at all. Even for balls over the top, he'd rather stay back and let the defenders deal with it. Always looks uncomfortable 'sweeping' behind the defence. I suppose at least the defenders can deal with consistency rather than him sometimes coming and sometimes not.
