Did I hear one of the commentators say we have not won with Byrne in the side this season, he's not by himself with regards poor a performance but he hardly adds confidence to his fellow defenders, there has to be changes second half, how are we not 3 - 0 down at half time.

 

We’re still very poor away from home this season,played fantastic at Cardiff, fluked a win at Stockport and got a lucky win at Plymouth. We don’t create anything like enough chances away from home and lucky to have 2 shots on target.

Yes, I agree. Arguably, we've done more attacking today and had some near chances but Humphrys and Wright mainly have made wrong decisions.

We only really have 3 shots on target a match so when we concede goals it makes it difficult for us to get back into it.

Sorry, but it's no different between home and away in terms of shots and shots on target. Its just that we've taken more chances at home than away.

 

Awful performance, worried about our away performances again. Alexander needs more quality in this side and change tactics away from home or we will see the same at Blackpool.

 

Exactly what I was going to suggest.

This hasn't worked. Need the ball on the deck in the second-half, with some pace to push them back a bit.

 

Not making excuses for the back 3 but the long balls are just dying mid air in the wind and wreaking havoc. We need to find a way to make use of this in the 2nd half. Just keep hitting the channels imo and get Touray / Neufville pushed on as much as possible.

If I was Kav, I would be busting a gut to try and stake a claim in the side, but he has been truly shocking with zero desire.

Halliday looks like a Sunday league player today, and not a very good one either.

Power probably the only player above a rating of 4 in that half.

A decent side would have them on toast , on this showing there’s at least Byrne, Kav who shouldn’t feature ever again .

 

It's stuff like playing Wright on the right side when he's been playing decent enough on the left that has you shaking your head in disbelief. It's unfair on the player when we have Lapslie on the bench. Then trying to shoehorn Kavanagh into Pointon/Wrights position just makes it worse.

 

Our defence is what has been aiding our recent scrappy wins, so let’s just start pi@@ing about with that too
