The ref has lost any control at our corner kicks , even though it’s happening right before him.

Flat game, Kelly back to his normal distribution self , Tilt decent as is Power and Metcalf.

I was thinking maybe Neufville for Halliday and push Tyreik further forward alongside Humphrys.

There is a pattern with these scrappy matches - this one, Burton, Stevenage - Alexander doesn't seem to know how to set up the team to create chances. He needs to get the tactics sorted out. We've had zero shots at home.

I'd be going two up top with Swan and Humphrys. Needs something different because the first half was rubbish.

 

Power is weak, he just does not deliver as a captain, sure he flaps at other players but our midfield is like butter. We need players staying in thier positions not running back and forward the entire game covering our non existent midfield. He should be taking no prisoners, motivating the team and holding the ball. He does none if that.

 

I guess I’m trying to make the point that we are making the Port Vale back four look like the Italian back four from Italia 90 this evening. Does that help clarify? Also don’t forget no shots on target that I mentioned. Maybe we could get some defensive horrors if we actually looked threatening? What do you think?

 

This match is showing why Baldwin is a key player for us as a link from defence to attack. I also don’t know why Pattison isn’t on the bench
