    Fine , but I don’t think they’d have played with such determination against us or banged 5 against Blackpool if Moore was still there. Changing manager has given them a lift.

    But, there is a flaw in your comment.

    To be totally accurate, Port Vale do not have a new manager, they are using Darren Moore’s long term assistant.

    The debate was a ‘new manager bounce’. They are still with Darren’s assistant. Blackpool had Husband sent off. They were 1-0 up. It changed the game, and to their credit Vale overran the depleted team. So if you are objective, then not a ‘new manager bounce’.

    Come on if Moore would have been there for the last two games they would have put in the performances they have done ??????
    Ok saying the donkey lashers where down to 10 men but how many times have teams struggled to beat them ????

    Maybe they had more admiration for the assistant than for Moore. I remember when we sacked Trevor Cherry and results improved dramatically when his assistant Terry Dolan took over. Club went from bottom of league to 10th.
