How about we actually back up all the rhetoric and big statements that players and management constantly spout.
Time to show that the players are up for a fight and more importantly that the manager sets us up to allow them to show it.

 

Fans seem to be saying they have a threadbare midfield, this hopefully sees our Captain Tom paced midfield not being passed and run through like the opening of the red sea. But i doubt it.

New man will come in, will do enough to keep us safely in the league, and then another huge turnover of players so he has his own squad. Rallying calls from the 3 stooges over the summer, season ticket sales the same and then another crap start and all enthusiasm drained out of the fans by October.

It’s the crap starts that kills us, driven by a crap pre-season.

 

I sort of know the answer and will no doubt get jumped on by the usual suspects but is a decent performance and it finishes a draw(against 2nd in league) acceptable compared to a streaky,disjointed 90 mins but nick a 1-0 win off a deflection off Cook’s fat arse?

This will then surely set us up for the next game on Sunday and hopefully your 4 point target.

I know it’s a results business but to get those results we have to consistently put full 90 minute
performances in for the next 5 months.
Streaky 1-0 wins won’t go on forever.
We’re not that good.
We can’t keep turning up for 27 minutes here and 45 minutes there.

Due to the apparent lack of any outstanding teams in league 2 performances improving will inevitably lead to more wins and therefore a higher finish.

I await the inevitable pile on about “raising my expectations” etc.

 

Totally agree with your post. 4 points will no doubt please GA but if the watch is anything like the Swindon game then personally for me nothing changes

 

Along with crap recruitment, crap team selections and crap performances. Apart from that though we are doing OK

Wonder if MK Dons fans were saying same thing before they sacked GA.
