Port Vale have had their appeal against the red card for Sang rejected. Not surprised as it didn't look good from the dug out side and the main camera from the main stand side showed nothing so they didn't have a chance of proving it was a clear and obvious error.

 

The view from the Kop end camera image I saw was extremely telling. I think it’s the one on the Inside Matchday.

 

I've just seen that now. He has at least 2 looks at Sarcevic then puts his arm/elbow into Sarcevic's neck.

 

He wouldn’t want to come and sit on bench

 

It was naughty , very naughty . When I saw it last night it was far worse than initially imagined. What were they thinking to appeal it? Especially as the foul play alert came from 2m to their bench. ie we think the 4th official .

 

They've got nothing to lose by appealing it apart from the cost of submitting an appeal, it's why are seeing more and more appeals that have very little chance of being successful.

 

I might be imagining this but I thought that unsuccessful appeals could be subjected to an additional game ban if deemed “frivolous” or something like that.

 

Yep MK certainly saw the light sacking Alexander and employing a guy who said more than once he was happy for his team to play out from the back and have 70% possession even though they had conceded 4 goal, football fans eh .

 

Armstrong and Cook if only we had someone like Nicky Summerbee to put a decent cross in.

He wasn't bad, trouble with Beages was you never knew when he had finished taking the piss out of the full back, I could never imagine Campbell making runs into the box only to see Beages leaving the full back on his arse then crossing .

Slight exaggeration I know.

This on e @Kevin1954 with having only seen it from the Midland Road cameras I thought it looked harsh then when looking from this camera you can clearly see around 16:30 he has a quick look around before he slams his elbow into Sarcevic's neck area, definite Red and a good call from which ever official saw the incident.
