If GA, Gent and Sharpe seriously think Armstrong is the answer then I'm not sure they've been asked the right question.

 

Spot on - I enjoy listening to GA’s pre and post match press conferences. He talks a lot of sense and is well aware of the bigger picture and does not lurch from one emotion to another. He’s very level headed.

 

They have to fill the managers social media “ contractual demands” with something , commonly known as spin .

Not worth listening to and hasn’t been for many a season tbh.

 

Not withstanding the fact i think he's crap he will also be on a decent whack after being signed in league 1.

With Cooky been undroppable i'd be hesitant to come here if i was a striker looking for game time unless i was told it was to partner him. Can see us not bringing anyone in and sticking with what we have as no one will take Oliver

 

I listen to a lot of managers interviews across the leagues and GA comes across a lot better than many others.

I’ve been listening to Mike Williamson at Carlisle recently. All he talks about is XG and entries into the box, and could send a glass eye to sleep.

Conversely, David Artell at Grimsby is one of the managers who I enjoy listening to.

 

Yes some are decent , but I avoid GA’s as he’s too contradictory .

 

I don't see why Carlisle would let Armstrong go as he's their only senior striker that is fit with Georgie Kelly out injured again and out for the season.

If it was to happen then for me we would getting one of the best aerial strikers in the league who had a good record with Harrogate and was minutes away from signing for Wrexham for £500,000 last season. For me he would be a perfect replacement for Oliver to either come on late or to start alongside Cook and take some pressure off him as teams wouldn't be able to double up on him like they do now.
