Evans will be looking to impress to earn himself a new contract, either here or elsewhere. Not expecting him to do 90 minutes yet but it wouldn't surprise me that we might look half decent in central midfield for once if he plays.

 

So, about trimming down the squad size...

 

Half the tearms injured, we need reinforcements, could be a decent addition

 

Not too concerned about this signing... It means we'll have cover if we need it and at least we're signing the ageing crock who could conceivably do very well on a 3 month contract and not on a 2 year contract, which is which way round it should be done!

 

The thing with going for a small squad is you might get injuries, and if you do get injuries, you're then left to bring in whatever's left over.
