Been listening to a podcast with player whom played for him a couple of times and he sang his praises,Both the player and the hosts commented on how they'd been on the Austria pre season tours, GA has been doing them at least since his days as Fleetwood manager.

 

Alexander mentioned nothing about Young being poor in training, merely that his mind seem elsewhere (or words to that effect). Also mentioned that he wanted Young to stay.

Maybe he’s bringing him in as a plan b for different formations , alongside Smallwood maybe into a 4-2-3-1 formation but then a million strikers will be on bench so god knows. As a club for past few seasons we always seem to be overloaded with players in certain positions and then lack depth elsewhere.

 

I tell you what if he hadn’t scored a few goals ( the only time in his career) he would have beeb called out on here. For whatever reason he has been sidelined twice by two managers and nobody batted an eye whwn he was loaned out. Oh the hypocrisy of football fans eh
