I don’t entirely disagree with that, we do have quite a strong squad. But I equally think our starting eleven is much weaker - in central defensive areas and in terms of creativity

 

I think for the sake of my mental health I'm going to revert to not giving a shit where we finish this season as long as it's 1-22 and just be happy I have a club to support.

This constant sense of entitlement because we are massive is doing my swede in

 

I think that's the key for me. We've signed players and enhanced the squad but very few (for "few" read none at present) seem to have actually improved the first XI from what we witnessed at the back end of last season.

Early days though, maybe by October we might have seen one or two really making an impact.

Interesting interview with GA on Jake Young. Very honest , But ultimately he'll be gone before the end of the window in my opinion.Does though mention a 2 year deal, which I presume is the last year of his current deal plus the year in the clubs favour.

 

Can't argue with that. Alexander seems a very honest guy and that comes across in his interviews.
