Your right if we sign two more with Pattison and Young that will be equivalent to eight signings added to what we already have and I think it’s a strong squad of course there are always better players available so if we bring others in that would be good

 

Yeh I think a minimum of two (a LWB and a CB) and a maximum of four (depending on if / when McDonald and Oliver go) more signings.

I’d also like Bobby P and Jamie W to be given new contracts.

 

He’s far too lazy for the role and like Wright, drifts in and out of games when he feels like it. Harsh perhaps and in Odour's case , a wasted talent .

 

Ollie McBurnie was poor for us because he wasn't physically ready for the first team, something you don't really find out until you put them in. It was noticeable that Swansea took time to develop him, as a Premier League club they could afford to do that. Harry Ibbotson may or may not be ready physically.
That still leaves us Cook, Young, Smith, Kavanagh, Wilson and Oliver (unless the last 2 move on.

 

The signing of two players seems very popular amongst posters on here.
The window officially opened today so we will see what transpires over the coming weeks but I have to agree with others unless we move more players out I doubt incomings will reach dizzy heights having secured four new players this far.

 

I'm going to go on record here with an unpopular opinion, I reckon Oduor is going to turn out to have been a really good signing in time

 

We score more goals than last season and concede less.

 

We’re still waiting for them to announce Colin Doyle’s renewal as well.

 

The four signings we made plus two players fit after missing just about the whole season plus having Alexander from the start.

 

I take it you didn't buy a ST such is your supposed distrust of the club.

Probably right but a couple of them are injury prone and we have a long season.

Not a chance. He won't feature much this year and I would be surprised to see him move on in January, at least on loan.

 

Patison/Walker

 

It will be interesting to see how Alexander uses him, probably off the bench. Yes he's got quick feet and turns well but when someone gets physical he lacks heart and gets bullied too easily

 

To be fair Pattison was unlucky with 2 had injuries last season. The previous 2 seasons he played 86 games scoring 19 goals.
