It's a good business move. When you sell your product cheap it's because it's not of very good quality. It will get rid of those who go simply because it's a cheap day out. Hopefully starts to get rid of the tag that we only sell loads of tickets cos they're cheap.

    Wow. Sad day.

This is the end for me.

Looks like 8 season ticket holders lost.

Never thought the day would arrive where I didn't renew. I assumed sense would prevail.

    Evidently not.

I would pay whatever the club asks of me, nothing more, nothing less.

Why? If it’s because the product is crap then fine but not because it’s £5 more per month.

Really, you and your party only attend because its cheap.
17 years of paying below actual value.
First serious increase in years, still cheaper than our peers and you are out.

Exactly as you say. The club have been a disgrace for a while with zero inclination to improve.

If they want to coast along yet charge me more they can do one.

But you keep saying that if supporters stop attending the club would suffer but nows your chance to put more in and you’ll pay the same as others

    Don't lecture me.

I'm fuming at the nerve of these failures and charlatans.

This is not something I take lightly so stick your attitude up your backside. We've been going as a family for decades.

Will you let the club know why, or just go quietly? Not a loaded question, by the way.

Yes ........... the first twinklings of a well thought out plan with sound rationale emerging from the ivory towers of VP. Increase prices to get rid of those fans on lower income on a match day so the rest of division 4 may think, for once, we have a quality product. Logical, yes:OO::OO:??

Are you really that bothered about the "tag" that we sell loads of tickets cos they are cheap.

Why is it good to "get rid" of supports who want a cheap day out. That's like Toby Carvery stopping their meal deal offers to stop people eating for less.

Its still a cheap day out and they have reduced costs for children.
If we want to maintain a good budget and also cover the innevitable increase of running costs, then you have to increase prices or cut the quality of the product.
What do fans want the club to do, hold the same price indefinately.

I'll probably write in. Obviously a long term season ticket holder has paid a lot more in the past, so they need to understand that ain't the reason.

As we all know except clever clogs.

A walk is a cheap day out - if I'm spending money, I want to be entertained.
Do you go to the cinema to stare at a blank screen?

Breathtaking vision from Sparks. Price increase every season until the lease expires, then we'll be able to move to Harrogate's ground with all our season ticket holders. Well done, Ryan.

There is not usually another film running at the side trying to spoil your entertainment. 23 other clubs trying to stop city achieving, victories, some with a better product, some with worse, all with different incomes and expenditures.
Sport is unique within the entertainment industry.
