Bradford away to Notts County on the Saturday, then away to Reading in the FA Cup on the Monday. Suck it up is what I say. We had to.

I've got another 6 to go back tomorrow. I'd just about sorted some cover for Tuesday so I could make the game but I'm on nights Wednesday so no chance.

Why didnt they just move the FA Cup tie back to Saturday before selling tickets for that one?

The TV schedule is split 1 on Friday and Monday and 3 on each of Saturday and Sunday. Because of the way the ties worked with the TV and Champions League ties not being confirmed until last week it mean all of the ties containing a Champions League side had to be Friday or Saturday with the other 4 on Sunday and Monday

Going to miss this now. I’m not sure I understand why their cup match had to be Sunday.

TNT Sports have the rights to each game and a Saturday slot wasn't available due to the timings of the rounds and Champions League draw

Anybody know - was it possible for City to object to the change at such short notice? If it had to move back to April, so be it - they’d probably be down by then and hopefully their pitch will have improved with better weather!

At his press conference GA said that Port Vale offered to move the match to Wednesday last week but City said keep it on Tuesday but only change it if Port Vale won in the Cup as it made no difference to us.

Port Vale currently 1-0 up at half time. Not too dissimilar to our FA cup game against Sunderland with them not liking the pitch.

I've seen worse pitches but it's certainly not good and will be a tough pitch to play on, expecting a lot of long balls and aerial duels. Thankfully it is forecast to be dry until Wednesday so that could help the pitch a bit.

Was hoping they’d win on penalties. Extra time, take it out of them and a bit of after the Lord Mayors show on Wednesday hopefully.

A win on penalties and they get a big draw in the next round to distract them even further.

Got to get corners and crosses into the box as their keeper looks like he wants to come out for everything but his punching is awful
