They've opened up a bit of a gap now and they definitely have the quality to stay there.

 

Apparently they were very lucky today and Doncaster we're all over them. So don't lose hope just yet

Thought Kelly was absolutely superb today and I’m not his biggest fan by a long stretch.

 

We've not played Vale, Orient, Mansfield or Wigan yet.

 

Purple patch = a run of success or good luck.

Listening it was getting sweaty up to Bobby scoring . They had a chance or two beforehand ? . The second nicely calmed it all down ?

 

Best centre back in L1 , oh

 

If I’m honest it’s the most comfortable I’ve felt at a match all season, but the match stats show it closer than I expected tbh.

 

Distribution still leaves a bit to be desired but all the defenders put a shift in today.

 

Did Walker have a massive amount to do?
Stats can be very deceptive.
You saw the game with your own eyes and those stats don’t tell the whole story.

I never felt they were a massive threat.

 

First half pulled off a top save. Their finishing wasn’t good. I don’t the the Reading keeper had a save to make either?

 

That’s why stats don’t really mean owt to the average fan.

I think we always looked more likely to score than them.

 

Glad to do my bit and get him going.

He had a good second half, I still stand by the point that he is far too inconsistent/indecisive to be this close to the starting XI.

 

Boring first half. Second half after we scored we started to play football on the deck and looked decent and started to play with confidence. Halliday my motm.

 

Even Baldwin? He was Readings best hope of creating a chance.

 

I f’in hate listening on the radio ! Awful awful . Pleased it was better than it sounded .

 

Sarc for me but Metcalfe was certainly excellent and I've no arguments that he got it from the sponsors.
