I just think its down to teams doubling up on him.

Until we get more threat from the left then opposition teams will gamble to double up on him to try and dry up the attacks. Have more threat on the left and they can't just automatically commit more players to defending his side.

We ain't pretty but the result sure looks that way!

The Plymouth forum is, er, interesting: "We're (Argyle) a well-drilled professional team." "Full of holes!"

That's mainly because the wing backs go wandering up the pitch and then start pressing their defenders like Touray did today. Once the game has set again he needs to get back and tell the likes of Humphreys or Wright to do the pressing.

He may be but he'll learn so much playing alongside him and tbh when we have 3 forwards and 2 wingbacks up the pitch we need central midfielders who are a bit more cautious or not afraid of a tackle and hence that's why he's a better option than Leigh but if we had a Castledine type who is at Town then that would be an excellent option for us.

Just go look at the stats, saves me time. What makes him bad? The same thing that made the likes of you think player of the season Smallwood was poor for us? Most people still struggle to understand a holding midfielders role which baffles me.

Problem is he doesn't cause any mischief in the middle, his USP is running at people from wide.

    28 games left
10 wins 10 draws with 8 defeats, would see us on 74 points and probably the playoffs
Performances might not have been great this past few weeks, but we are picking up the points
I thought a defeat today so the 3 points for me are a real bonus
Let’s follow this up with a win on Tuesday
    Stevenage have Cardiff
We can got top or open a gap to third with that win
Good days to be a bantam again

The trouble is there is a gap between our forward thinking players and the ore defensive ones. We need someone who does what Pattison does only more consistently and better

Yeah that's another possibility - a right hand of Baldwin + Brad + Neufville could be decent.

Whilst for the most part our performances have lacked a bit of the quality and passion of early season. We are still gathering points and our away form is a lot better than last.
Compare where we are with our opponents on Tuesday who along with Doncaster were better than us last year. So we are easily exceeding our pre season expectations we are victims of our early form

Do you mean like when an opposition teams like 30 yards from goal and they act like we’re going to concede? They don’t have dramatise it, it was a comfortable game defensively, but if you listened to them without watch you’d think Plymouth missed about 10 tap ins. They shit their pants whenever the opposition comes into our half.

Exactly. Teams 7 or 8 points behind us and played the same number of games as us. OK, a couple in the places below us have a game in hand but I'm happy to have the points on the board. More pressure on them. Let's just keep picking up the points.

    Some poor stuff from us
Were slipping back to wasted long balls and poor passing
We will drop down the table if we slip back to div 2 style of play

If we were 3-0 with 20 minutes left then I think he would have come on. We could have done with the EFL Trophy being this week rather than last week as it's going to be tough to give him minutes to get him up to speed with little space in the calendar to get a training ground match in.
