Hate to say it as Cleverley is not only an old City youth player, but an ex Hanson pupil, but Plymouth really were poor today.

Job done, just about deserved. Sometimes you just need to dig it out. Well done lads

Still think 2-3 quality signings needed in Jan.

    Well done, City.

We've all complained about the away form and usually don't do well in these long distance games but got the win today.

Three points. On to the next.

I looked at their line up beforehand and thought 'how are they down there', but then you watch them play, and you see.

Great result. We have to be beating teams like this if we have any hope of an autos push.

That's excellent to say it was an early kick off and 3 weeks before Christmas, it might have be a poor watch but the traveling fans won't care, neither do I, Orient next up fullish squad to pick from 3 points at home.

Football all about results as they say. A truly appalling game of football played by two pretty clueless sides but three points toward safety lol. Plymouth as bad a team as I've seen us play in a long time, actually painful watching them with no game plan whatsoever.

The last two games have been way below our early season performances but 6 points and 2 clean sheets is a great return.

You could have written all that about a Stevenage match too and they're third. As long as we're on the right side of them, that's key!

Got away with it today, another ugly win but I'll take it. I think we should try starting with Swan in the middle with Humphrys working the channel.

I know the goals have dried up for Swan but he needs more game time. I always feel like we carry more of a threat with him on the pitch with his high press and speed

We were given 1,770 and the last I heard, we'd sold 770.
    Still waiting for the figures.

Excellent win all things considered. We've been struggling badly for weeks but in fairness we've tightened up at the back and whilst its not pretty, GA has made us difficult to beat so we've continued to pick up points.
We all know that we need a good January transfer window, but for now I'll take ugly 1-0 wins all day long.

We desperately need quality in this squad. If the likes of T. Wright and Kelly (who wasn’t all bad today) can get in this team, then something has to change. As for Neufville, I think he needs to start on the bench. He hasn’t produced anything worthwhile for a number of games and isn’t bringing anything more than Halliday would.

Typical away game of the GA success regime - getting stronger as the match went on, i.e. usual first 30 minutes of rubbish.

I don't know the official stats, but when we've had 11 men - we've rarely lost away from home after been 0-0 or better after 30 mins. But we have often been terrible up to that points (i.e. Walsall, Notts County and Harrogate away last season. It has to be that we need a certain fitness / intensity to play well and it takes time during these matches to get there.
