That's how I saw it - no intent whatsoever. He was just clearing the ball out. Its a windy day. Even if there was a whistle he may not have heard it

 

Don't suppose it matters if it's intentional or not anymore, it's been the same for a few years. You kick the ball at an opponent and by the letter of the law it's a red card, they all know the rules. And I'm sure all the Crewe players were reminding the ref when they surrounded him.

But if the ref was doing everything by the letter of the law, a few Crewe players should have a yellow for surrounding the ref.

 

Posted after 15 minutes this guy was letting stuff go that were stopping our momentum.

 

We have been the better team , much better display and it appears we can actually move the ball well just hope we don’t revert to hoof when cooks back

How has their captain Demetriou not had a card yet? Committed a few fouls, spent the entire match in the refs ear, then just threw himself to the ground in the box holding his ankle when nobody was even tackling him?

 

I wish Walker would come and collect those balls over the top.

He never does and it always ends up with defenders struggling to clear. He gets stuck on his ruddy line with heavy feet.

Think we’ve looked fairly solid defensively.

He’s one of those opposition players who you just know is going to chelp away at the ref all game.

Blatant cheating at the end to try get a pen.

 

Well, that’s a much better result than I ever thought we would get.

 

Think we win that with Pattison on the pitch

 

Not sure how much the weather is a leveller but we've acquitted ourselves well here today. A point away from home against an inform side would be a good effort after what wve seen the last few weeks.

 

A much improved performance.

If we'd had eleven on the pitch I think we'd have won that.
