Thought we did well today tbh bit sloppy at times but im sure that winning run is around the corner

 

2nd after no wins in, seems like forever.
How is it so?

 

Joe Wright was a rock at the back at Tyreik had a decent game. Neufville struggling to get involved again.

Bolton deserved to be two up at half time but fair play to GA for switching it. A battling, deserved point I feel. We played so much better second half, Humphreys held it up better. Sarc struggled.

One complaint: STOP DOING SHORT SET PIECES, MAX POWER

 

On Max Power set pieces..... can he actually throw it long? Feels like we always send everyone up for the throw and he always either goes short, or when it is long it rarely has much pace on the throw and it barely makes it to the first man on the long one.

 

Agree Border - please GA, can we start the Exeter game with the same second half team (barring injuries) and at the same tempo??? Let's get playing like we were at VP.

 

It certainly didn’t sound like a low quality game, to 26,000 and all the listeners on the commentary . If that’s your get out of jail I think you failed .

 

Yep. Once Sarcevic is back up to speed (he struggled today I know) and Neufville is opening teams up (more likely at home?) we’ll be winning again

We have really missed Baldwin. Was great to see him pinging 30 yarders out to the wings again…..just opens the pitch up!

 

You can’t shoot whilst ones are back to the wall defending to a very good side . I honestly don’t know what people expect sometimes. The good start to the season has got some carried away, whereas we should be realistic . And the second half we had plenty of shots and might have just sneaked it . A draw sounded like a more than fantastic achievement , especially when most supporters didn’t even give us a prayer at 1459?

 

We haven't won a game for nearly 2 months and at one stage we were top of the league today.

WTF even is L1 this season?

 

It’s not just me then.
Everything about it seems such a charade.

There was one in the second half where he even waited for the actual match ball to come back rather than one on a cone.
He shoved it up his shirt to dry it,does all the preparation and beckoning of the players forward and then barely gets it in to the box.
It’s almost like he thinks it’s a long throw but it really isn’t.

 

But it was a poor game according to some ?

 

Enjoy that today, good game, so close to nicking it at the end.

Coming out of the ground was carnage, took a punch to the back of the head off someone then the police separated me from my son and forced him to the train station , we drove and they wouldn't allow him back off the platform until I went to collect him from there.

We’re practically at the top of the league in a new division and the idiots on social media are back out in force after a draw away at probably a top 6 side in the league. It’s unbelievable

 

Drives me up the wall because it's obvious what he's doing every time. I want to see him launch one to see if he can or this looped nonsense is actually a plan? He should throw one in with max power...

Does anyone know what happened to the Bolton fan with the hat and beard goading all game?

him and a City fan went down to front gesturing to each other to go outside, with stewards there, but the City fan came back up five minutes later and Bolton fan never returned lol. How that City fan didn’t get kicked out I’ll never know lol. Fair play go the Bolton stewards who were very tolerant. Some boot you out for swearing, nevermind the stuff those two were shouting across the stands!

 

Hope you're all good? There were some morons after the game, from what i could see it was a group of City fans forcing it too. There were a group of 6 or 7 City fans chanting wanky wanderers about 10 feet infront of us, then they just pushed one lad in a Bolton scarf to the floor and the police horses come bounding over.

Then the same group started on another lad and one of them tried hitting a lad from the side. He avoided and shouted wtf are you doing? The city idiot said he's after Bolton lads..... the bloke who avoided the punch then unzipped his coat, said "I'm a city fan you fecking idiot".... the idiot then replied with "oh I dont give a feck" and tried hitting him again before his mates pulled him away.

Always get some bell ends on away days i suppose.

It was a low quality game. High on effort from both sides, but generally frantic and low quality. When you say it ‘didn’t sound like a low quality game’, did you actually watch it?

 

Good point in the end after a very difficult first half.

I've been a bit perplexed with Alexander these last couple of games, what was he thinking starting Metcalfe in the forward right position?

He couldnt affect the game in any way either attacking or defending, surely Lapslie would have been a better option from the start.

Also in the last two games, we have started kavannagh and swan up front and both have been hooked at half time having been able to contribute the some total of nothing.

Both have been a complete waste of position on both games. We have given neither of them an opportunity, a pass, service and both have been aimlessly running long for a pass that never comes or an hoof from the back they are expected to win.

Makes no sense, you might as well use cook to batter a centre half for an hour and then introduce one of the other two

 

another stat one defeat in 9 we are at least putting points on the table. Top scorers least till today as well
