Didn’t watch the game but Bolton mate just text me saying we are the best team they have played so far.

Enjoyable away day, thought City defended well first half but we were lucky to go in at 0-0.

Much better second half and thought we could have snatched it.

Neufville, Pattison and Pointon looked off the pace, Neufville actually looked quite subdued. Tyreik had a great game, Joe Wright MOTM by far, a colossus at the back, and also a big shout out to Touray, and Walker for a couple of great saves in the first half.

Away end seemed a bit quieter than usual.

Traffic terrible near the ground and Tesco on the way back - the roundabout was being blocked by cars leading to a 40 minute jam.

Nice curry to finish off when I got home. Onto Exeter next week.

no service means no goals strikers are only as good as the service they get did you watch the first half
    me thinks maybe not.

Yeah agree with this. A few weeks ago I thought Baldwin in for Wright was the obvious decision. Wright seems to have got it together though so Baldwin at RCB seems the sensible move, especially given Pennington’s injury, and then Touray at LCB.

Do feel the rating was harsh on swan and optimistic with Humphrys, but to be honest, swan did little in terms of link up play, and Humphrys had our best two chances and gave us a focal point of attack, whereas with Swan it did feel non existent

Can we stop this nonsense about service? He's not a punter sat down waiting for his dinner to arrive. Service? Get involved! Go and get some action for yourself. Drop deep, bother defenders, make some runs. I'm sick of hearing 'not getting service' as an excuse for a striker being completely anonymous. Humphrys was far more dangerous and problematic for their defence. For the record Swan has done fine this season but he was poor today.

Precisely how I saw it. Rode our luck a little first half. Shape didn’t seem right and felt we had no outlet outside of a few flashes down the left and the one time Neufville got past the LB. Metcalfe selection at right forward didn’t work, he didn’t look comfortable nor did our whole set up.

The changes made us look much more our early season selves. We were on the front foot and thought we might nick it, even though clear cut chances were few.

Finishing the game as we did makes me confident we’re well set up for Exeter.

As someone who actually went to the game, then I felt we were lucky to go in 0-0 at halftime.
Far better display second half, we could have nicked it in the end.
A draw was a decent result. Their team has won all their home games this season.
Getting out of the car park was an absolute nightmare, spotted cars with skeletons in them!
Felt Joe Wright had his best games pre concussion injury.
Felt that Tyreik Wright also had a decent game.
Stadium smart but a bit characterless.
Looking at @Wakefield Bantam@Wakefield Bantam picture must have been close. We were on Row P, left of the goal.
We now need to start winning games starting with Exeter next week.

In fairness to Swan, he's definitely not a lone striker but he put a 45 minute shift in and we earned a point. Well done to everyone that played a part.

Absolute bollocks, Tyriek had a decent game today, and Mrs Onside probably is not your mate.
He gets slated but I bet there'd be a few clubs at our level who'd take him.

I think we definitely need a mobile number 9 if we're not going to play Cook from the start. Surprised he didn't come on, but maybe he just isn't upto the required levels for Alexander. Is this the beginning of the end for him?

I agree. I thought Tyreik was decent yesterday. First half he and Touray had their hands full with their wonder kid loanee, Cozier-Duberry, and I thought he did well defensively. In the second half he got forward more and looked dangerous, especially that tricky run when he was hacked down just outside the box as he was about to pull the trigger. I thought Mr Drysdale was generally OK, but how that wasn’t a booking beggars belief.

100% effort and fantastic work rate from T Wright but still lacking that cutting edge, in my opinion. That was a good run but he was hardly hacked down, he went down very easily. I will probably get pelters here but going down was the easy option.

    Yes, sadly.

He's 35, on the back of an ACL and only ever played one season at this level before in his career. He won't be here next season.

It's a shame, I desperately wanted him to reach 100 goals for us but that seems unlikely now.
