Not losing many but not winning many. Hard to beat though, that’s a decent platform.

No I said about a number of posts ago I only had audio . I made that very clear from the outset . I had NO feed. Hundreds of Bolton fans on Social media are saying it was a great game and a fair result . If you want low on quality maybe watch the PV game and take that as a benchmark and work from there . Many say that was a poor game with no quality at all. I repeat I’m not sure what some fans expectations are tbh.

My first away game of the season, my take on the game.
Typical first half with few chances but we did well to defend and control the game. 2nd half with the changes it injected pace into the game. The subs Bolton made left gaps for us to exploit, sadly we didn’t take them. We were probably fortunate that they didn’t have their shooting boots on as it could have been at least 3-0 at half time.
I do wonder if Cook would have been a better option instead of Swan, simply because he is probably better at holding up the ball better and getting it distributed to other players.
Still, a point gained on the road.

And what's with max Smallwood all of a sudden?

Not sure there is a need for him to take every free kick, every corner and every throw in.

Why he decided to go for that free kick at the edge of the box I'll never know. I don't think he has had a shot that hasn't cleared the bar by 10 foot all season.

Strange as I sure I remember him as being a fairly steady scorer for Sunderland and Wigan

    My thoughts on the game

Walker - made some good saves. Poor with his distribution though, and sending it to T wright every goal kick is just pointless

Pennington - Hasnt been his composed self since the first injury. Hoping the second injury doesnt keep him out for a long time

    J Wright - solid. MOTM

Touray - dependable as ever. Probably our best signing of the season

T Wright - shockingly poor first half. Stepped his game up in the second so fair play to him. Needs to learn to take on his man

Power - poor. Set pieces were crap, throw ins were worse. Bolton were bullying us in the middle

Pattison - also poor. A top CM is the priority in the window. We struggle to get into a rhythm in so many games

Neufville - poor by his standards. Didnt impact the game much

Metcalfe - him and patto should have switched positions. Look out of place in an advanced role

Pointon - okay, but not brilliant. Didnt have much support in the first half to be fair

    Swan - given no service

The additions of Baldwin, Humphrys and Sarc did change the game. Hopefully we use it as a springboard and get back to winning ways in the next one. A good point against a team that will definitely be up there come the end of the season

As GA said it would have upset th balance with them having four midfielders

Christ knows. Amazed they knew what day of the week it was, guessing they had a fair few too many sherberts from the looks of them after the match.

I ended up parking in the home car park and had to walk through the hoards of home fans. Thought the police would block the away fans turning left when I came out. Parking was a nightmare especially paying at the end. For those who didn’t pay on the day you have until midnight to pay online.

Apart from possibly giving them a booking for the foul on Wright I didn't see much wrong with him today. Sat in the Bolton stand today unfortunately. Their fans moaning all game long that the ref wasn't giving them owt.

Hopefully tech can get advanced enough soon to deal with these morons and exclude them from going to games. Obviously not quite there yet.

Ah, now I see. I actually watched the game. But I'll be honest, I've no idea what you're banging on about. You've bitten at a comment that I made at HT about having zero shots on goal in 45 minutes not being good enough. And I stand by that. And for your benefit Kev because you didn't actually watch the game, we literally had no shots on goal in the first half. I'm not being hyperbolic. Our attacking play in the first half was non-existent. 0 shots on goal, 0 on target. That's not good enough regardless of the opposition or their form.

As for the quality of the game, that's entirely subjective. I thought it was low. Few real chances at either end.

The only thing I've said about the result is that it's a good one.

Couldn't believe he took that free kick when Humphrys was the far better option. He'd been unlucky with an absolute hammer about ten mins earlier.

Said exactly the same to my granddaughter. Surely we don’t have another “I’m captain and I’ll take everything” Smallwood. He hasn’t hit the target all season, as you say so why does he take the free kick at the end.

Me and my lad walked through that. A bunch of idiots acting up then complaining when the police treat them like the dickheads they are.

Delighted with the performance today. It's dispelled the worry for me that we're on the edge of a slide down the table. That performance makes me think that we are going to carry on being a force like we have been up until the Lincoln game. I think some our underestimating our performance. Bolton are the best home side in this league and we ended the game looking more likely to win it.

First half was 6/10 but second was 8/10.

    J Wright motm. Superb performance.
Baldwin's distribution an underrated attacking weapon.
T Wright did well second half.
    Humphrys superb.
    Back 3 outstanding.
Neufville needs to find his early season form.

    3 points against Exeter please!

Yeah i was in car park C and it was a piss take trying to get out. When we got there, I was parked right by a meter with all the details on, downloaded probably the worst UI parking app known to man and paid for my parking as I arrived but I didn't realise I paid for 8 hours worth. Just got a text to say my stay is nearly over!

Glad I paid when I parked up on the app because the queue at the meter machine when we were inching out through the car park was ridiculous. Just remembered Matty Pennington walked past our stationary car at one stage with his missus in one hand an a Nandos bag in the other. Looked to be walking OK, hopefully his injury isn't too bad.

We are very very hard to beat.
Once we can consistently name our best 11 and Neufville can rediscover some form we will go back on a winning run.
We will be top 6 come January.
A decent bit of recruitment will see us finish there come May.

The app was called Evology Parking and the car park code was 807473. That code was for car parks B, C & E.
