Got mine and the nippers this evening.

Fleetwood one week, Colchester the next.

 

Well, I live 5 minutes away from Fleetwood, so this is a little like a home match for me. Sitting in the Fleetwood end with friends as well and will be home much earlier than my usual Saturdays watching City! Poulton is just up the road for the train and you will then go past Seniors Fish and Chips in Thornton, which is much better than the Fish and Chips near the ground that have been mentioned. Loads of places to park near the ground to park as well if anybody needs to know.

 

Tickets bought! Accidentally got seated instead of standing.

 

I went a few years and I think the most notable thing about the day out was being "propositioned" by a lady of questionable morals on my way back to Blackpool train station.
I politely declined her kind of offer of some "business" by the way.

You could be standing if some of the mindless idiots decide to stand in a seated area .

 

If it is still the same was as they did it when loyalty points were introduced then the 2nd points total is decided by how many tickets are available so if you are in the 2 priority windows you are guaranteed a ticket, I've seen nothing to suggest that has been changed and all games so far have made it to season ticket holders would say it's still the same. Because of the way they do it it in effect almost guarantees there will be some available to all season ticket holders as not everyone in the priority will buy a ticket. So far I don't think there's been 1 game which hasn't made it to season ticket holders so that method seems to have worked for that.
They said the first window was for a % of the ticket to split up the sale and give people an idea of where they ranked in the higher up places but they never said what the % was and this season the points split seem to be only 20 or so whereas at first it was more like 60.

Well, gone 12 and still can't allocate the ticket on the website.

Phoned club shop and the line just automatically hangs up.

What a shambles from the club!

 

They were still there at 12 but I couldn't allocate any tickets and about 10 past were suddenly removed.

Yeah I've found them again but still won't let me allocate to one of the season ticket holders on my list. Doing my head in!

I got 3 no bother because we had enough points but trying to get one for my brother's lad is a right headache!

 

I've had real issues in the past getting away tickets.
Spinning circle of doom followed by been kicked out for ages then when Ive logged back in it's said I've bought tickets and email has been sent.
Sometimes I've not received the email and have to ask for it resent.

It wouldn't be so bad if I could even get in a queue for the ticket office but to have it set to automatically reject the call is even more ridiculous.

 

Tell your "friend" that we didn't get into negotiations before my refusal.

 

Phone lines opened up again about 25 past, same time as the website allowed me to allocate the ticket so managed to grab another.

Seems like there's still teething problems with getting the website to automatically reduce the points required at the correct time.

I wonder if those same people were at Cheltenham on Tuesday night, or will be at colchester in a couple of weeks. Entitled idiots

 

If my brothers lad had missed out then absolutely no qualms from him or me Steve, I actually think the points system has made it better. It's certainly made things easier in one way as myself and my kids are usually in the top two priority bands.

I just wish the website and/or phone lines would work correctly at the advertised cut off times as it's annoying when you've timed it so you're in with the best chance of getting tickets and then end up hanging about for another half an hour constantly refreshing and redialling while struggling to understand why neither are actually working.
