The club needs to get back gaining points consistency just like the end of last season and some clean sheets. The injuries are a problem but most who played today were in that winning team at the end of last season so today's result was really disappointing and hopefully a change of mindset from our poor starts and poor in the final third especially away from home. Colchester must be a change of attitude.

Alexander is the perfect manager for our club under this regime. Bang average, out dated and completely uninspiring.

A third of the way through the season we're 10th. That's spot on and a very fair reflection of our quality. 10th in a poor league 2.

    Did anyone actually expect better?

Exactly why I and a handful of others chose not to renew.
    Hopefully more see the light.

I saw the light before the last load of lies that were peddled to get fans to part with their cash

Paying to watch city is like paying for the dentist but at least you only have to see the dentist once a year - id rather have root canal without anaesthetic than go watch that turgid boring crap

If we were beaten by the better side playing decent football then I have no problems. But today he hung the players out to dry, I'm no fan of Oliver but throws him with no strategy to how to use the two strikers, instead he alludes to try to line up to match their attacking capabilities. They've no win in 5 FFS, don't worry about what is a very limited side. I mean, playing Pointon at LWB is just stupid. We have Walker and Pointon to play behind the front two, he uses Kav. We have centre backs on the bench yet plays a right back in the three, Richards looks a threat at times in a forward role, he plays him in the three. Just very frustrating in such a poor quality division.

I have to say, for the 2nd time this season I sat in the home end and just behind Alexander (normally in the bantams bar) and he was barking orders throughout and getting very frustrated. The players were simply not listening, no matter what he said and believe me, he made it very clear what he wanted, how it wanted to be done and was telling the players when they weren’t doing it. Has he lost the players, or are they simply just not intelligent enough to do what he says?

    Probably both !!
    Square pegs in round holes
Too many players played out of position or simply not good enough (Oliver) what does he expect
I would say GA out but no confidence in us recruiting anyone any better (although there is plenty out there)
    Same old Same old,
As we all know the problems lie higher up the ladder

Pointon was much better in the second half, when he went from being played completely out of position to being played in his normal position. I haven't done my coaching badges or played professionally, so I've no idea whether this change is relevant

Only the one post tonight with with regards the game, thanks Alexander for nullifying the two /three players who could influence the game. a starting 11 only you knew why you'd picked it with the one recognised central defender starting yet we had two on the bench why did you bring Huntington in knowing we were struggling at the time but as yet we've not see one minute of football from the guy (or did I miss it),
Once again you ignore Kavanagh who partnered Cook during that resent good run and play Oliver as Cooks strike partner which was a disaster from the first whistle, for a lad at 6"2' he rarely won a header many times leaving Cook isolated, we had little penetration out wide the number of times we played it square or back to our keeper at 1 - 0 down was a disgrace, it was hardly a surprise when Oliver didn't return for the second half being replaced by Oduor, allowing Kavanagh to play his more natural role, Oduor also allowing Pointon who had been anonymous the first half along with Walker to start getting at their defenders, even Benn and Richards were getting forward.
But once again you left it until the 72 minute to make our second change and that was basically like for like, were losing the f*****g game Alexander we have nothing to lose by possibly throwing another attacking option on and going for it, possibly bringing Halliday off, we did enough second half to get something from a poor game if only you once again had played players in their correct positions IMO you would have given us a shout as Fleetwood were nothing special on the day but IMO your tinkering cost us the game.

If you keep campaigning for people to see the light and everyone listens and stops going, then what? I’m interested to see your solid plan of how we turn this around.

I was sat at that end where Kian was warming up and I found it quite amusing our fans were giving him dogs abuse certainly from those standing and he was obliging with his antics and replies, not a lot you can say when he gestures 1 - 0 to Fleetwood, what did surprise me was that some of our fans actually went to both the stewards and the police yes the police about his reactions **so funny**so funny, then an official from the club came to him and told him to go back to the dug out.
I couldn't resist when he came out late in the game to warm up right in front of us I asked after his loan at the mighty Fleetwood would it be a season long loan at BPA next season but he ignored me or he didn't know who BPA are.
