Why did we wait until we were 2-0 down to have a good go at them? They were all over the place defensively in the last 15 mins when we went 3 up top.

And IMHO GA dropped a bollock breaking up the great team work we had down the left-where we cut them wide open at times.

 

Alexander is clueless, team selection lucky dip playing Wright who is utter dog poo and has been all season, a striker with the physical prowess of a butterfly are baffling

Football if you can call it that is as boring as Grayson , bower , Adam’s and Hughes combined

won’t be going again it’s literally a punishment going

It's worrying after the last couple of games that GA can't see this. To not start Richard's today was criminal. Not sure it would have made.much difference as till the last ten minutes no had played well but Richards had earned the right to start the game. As others have mentioned a worrying lack of pace when you come up against a decent counter attacking side especially in the middle of the park and another game where there was a lack of goal threat bar Andy Cook.
All in all a very disappointing display in a game with a chance to put a marker down against one of the better sides in the division.

Crosses are always gonna end with nothing if you continue to play Wright how mant chances did he have to put a ball in and failed time and time again .............but the first chance his replacement had ( Richards) he put a belter straight on Cooks head and if that isnt a wake up call for GA then god knows what is.

Thats what really grates on me the result was preventable but due to GAs obsession with playing a player that is badly out of form is yet another bitter spill to swallow ..............Doncaster comfotably the far better side and if thats what a promotion side looks then it shows how poor this league ..............just hope come Xmas we are still in the mix

 

I watched the Morecambe v Chesterfield game at lunchtime,which Chesterfield won easily,but on todays showing both City and Doncaster are way better than Chesterfield who are in the play off places.It really is a poor league this season,and if City cannot make the play offs at least,then i will be very dissapointed.

Wright gets into some good positions but instead of picking a man out he doesn’t look up and just hits it into the middle. Better wingers will look for a man or, we should train so that he puts it where our players have practiced being through the week. In all fairness Donny should have been out of sight, particularly after Byrne gifted them 2 opportunities in a matter of minutes. One positive for me was Cory Evans, he looks so composed and on todays showing, Walker might have a battle to retain his place.

 

Another game where we leave lots of space in midfield, will make any team look good
