He was in front of the header of the ball , Shepherd, when it was headed RT. He had absolutely zero need to touch it. My 11 year old gransdsons would probably do what he did….naivety, probably because he’s STILL in that , must try harder phase . He had a good 20 min spell but if we had cover on the bench he should have been pulled instantly for me. Harsh I know, but that was kids stuff!

Was fcuking furiating to say the least. His total lack of awareness of the situation around him was startling. Everyone else both on the pitch and in the stands knew as soon as he touched it, that it would be scrubbed off.

Very enjoyable afternoon and great result. The game turned for me when Wright went off, apparently felt his hamstring and had also had the bug. Nevertheless, I don't know how long we can indulge him. He just doesn't get back to defend at all and all their early threats came from where he should have been. It was the same last week. Apart from the goal they should have had at least one more and if they had it would have been a different game. Richards is so much better in defence and attack than Wright in my opinion.

Good decision to take Wright off. He was struggling down that side and after his booking he was a red card waiting to happen

And how could Kavanagh be offside second half when the Gillingham player kicked the ball onto him, surely if he was offside and the referee played on once the Gillingham player touched the ball messing up playing the ball onto Kavanagh that also should be play on, not having a go at the referee who I though had a very good game especially once Gillingham went 1 - 0 up and their keeper started his antics, just looked back at Mr Joyce's previous record and he does like his yellows, never a 9 yellow card game but very enjoyable he wasn't going to have players take the mickey.

With responses like this when we go a goal down, you clearly aren’t a City fan. Far from it. Town fan? Mansfield fan? Carlisle fan perhaps??? You seem an extremely bitter individual with an obvious hatred for our club

MODS - instead of editing posts that aren’t actually offensive, is this poster not a blatant WUM? Surely the rules of this site forbid constant Wumming?? This idiot is clearly going to get bites with shite posts like this :*@

Yes sometimes us fans take Cook for granted, just out of interest I wonder what Sharp offers to the team (as Cook offer nothing unless he's scoring were told) when he's also not scoring, its not a criticism of the lad but the many times I've see him the only time I've noticed him was when he stuck the ball in the back of our net.

Condolences on your loss idle. Let’s all dedicate that fantastic shepherd goal to your old man. Hopefully he was looking down on you with a cheer or 2 today

I'd also like to add my belated condolences @Idlebantam@Idlebantam, as with many of us Bradford City fans our first visits were with our dads, and as we know once you get the bug its not that easy to break the mould although some may disagree, an old cliché but I've personally found it to be true, "time is a great healer" I lost my dad when I was 21 I loved attending games with him and my brother, great that you spent so many more years watching and sometimes enjoying Bradford City together.

Need Byrne, Shepherd and Jamie Walker for that game Dave, that means all three have to avoid a booking on Tuesday night as all three are on four bookings, next is a ban.
ps........Great to see you before the game old buddy!!!!

Belated condolences idle but at least the lads brought home a result your dad would have enjoyed and I’m pleased you went to see it

We’ve seen it a thousand times, away team scores first and immediately starts with the dark arts and spoiling tactics. Brilliant mindset from us to turn it round so quickly and dominate them.
Shepherd- outstanding, fast becoming one of our most important players.
Odour- brilliant, gave us so much control in midfield and compliments his teammates.
Kav- ran his socks off, did everything bar scoring. It’ll come with the chances he gets
Could hardly have wrote a better script for this one, the game had nearly everything. Brilliant afternoon CTID
