All I needed was two Cook goals for £600. Kavanagh and Cook missing that one on one will haunt me for the next few hours until I forget haha

Their keeper had.a mare first half but kept them in it with two great saves with his feet second half.

Great result, especially if some players were still recovering from illness. Gillingham looked like a decent team and made it an entertaining game.

We looked very solid at the back all game, they had lots of possession late on but we had a good shape and they didn’t really create anything.

I think we look much better with Richards at LWB vs Wright. His defensive attributes are much better (Clarke / Hutton were much quieter once Richards came on) and he is still able to provide a lot of attacking threat too.

 

I thought the ref was great, there was no doubt throughout what the rules were. Card happy? Maybe, but he kept a lid on it superbly.

Benn was ill GA says. Byrne's illness has now gone through the whole squad he said so hopefully it's done with now.

Very enjoyable game. Bar a 15 minutes spell in first half, we controlled the game and played some good stuff.

I forgot to pick up my Cheltenham match tickets and can't get down Monday, will I be able to collect at Cheltenham?

 

Have to agree on this point. First in a very very long time we looked organised, disciplined, like we had a plan, played passages, worked as a unit. Coming from 1-0 down to add, a really good result for management and squad who all played their part.

It’s only a good result and performance if we follow it up. Keep it going….

 

He definitely kept a lid on things but that wasn't a 9 yellow card match.
