I Was going to say get Hump off because he offered nothing ! I’d still put cookie on and Swan for Kav after about 60-65 mins

Barnsley tbf are offering nothing up top other than set pieces, however credit to the lad for the once shots in a 1,000 goal.

City have been fantastic against a pretty haphazard defence.

 

Byrne has been awful. Slow to get it under control, slow to play it and given it away every time because he's allowed himself to be rushed.

The positives are no mistakes defensively yet and he's put in a couple of really good crosses.

 

Metcalfe looks a player to me. Still needs to develop but all the attributes are there.

He’s younger than Bobby isn’t he as well? He’s a big lad so I think it’s easy to forget just how young he is. Plenty of improvement to come from him I think.

 

At one time I'd be concerned playing towards the kop first half but with this crewe they have so much attacking options we look like scoring every time we go forward, Barnsley havent been inches game even with all their possession.
