I have worried more about the top end of the pitch since the start of last season.

It just feels like we've contrived to turn the defence, which was a bit of a strength last season, into something weaker.

We've weakened both ends for me. Which is a real disappointing lack of transfer strategy. Maybe the defenders will improve playing together but at the moment we still look short of goals and more likely to let more in than last season.

 

Problem is we seem to have too many of those kinds of players.

We need some to start the game well!!!

The dive from their defender just now was one of the most embarrassing I’ve ever seen. Cook never touched him

 

These quick dead balls are great. One of my only criticisms of Sam Walker is that he is often very slow to release the ball but seems we are moving quicker

Little half chance for Kav but the ball always seems to run away from him.

 

15 minutes in and as the away team we've done OK. Just a shame that Wright is allergic to shooting and instead couldn't find a City player with his cross.

All international windows are exempt from the 3pm blackout so the Colchester match will also be on sky Sports+ in November as will the reserve fixture against them in the March international window.

 

Some modern players are so feeble, just need to grow a pair and show a bit of commitment to their jobs.
And why sign a short term centre back and not play him when a centre back is injured. Alexander is a bit weird at times!
