Have to agree Wakefield, I admit to being very unimpressed with the Benn signing......but so pleased to be proven wrong (to date anyway!!!)

 

I thought Omari was their Oduor looked very technically gifted taking defenders on etc, but fortunately didn't make a telling pass all game.

Agree I've been critical of Kavanagh this season and after reading Alexander interview with regards Callum work rate etc I thought today was without doubt his best performance this season, laid the goal on for Cook that killed the game off for Tranmere and hit that scorcher that McGee did well to save, more of the same Callum please and only just gone 21 in September.

 

The seats were falling apart already.
Someone behind me sat on one and it collapsed under him.
It wasn't wanten destruction, just over exhubrance and crowded area of the stand that the facilities couldn't handle.
When the second goal went in I saw 2 instances of seats collapsing and fans tumbling down a few rows.

How many fans said benn was the most pointless signing due to Hallidays form last year the lads been a breath of fresh air, and gives us a fantastic attacking presence. Just a pity wright doesn’t attack more, like he did when he first played for us

Out of contract at Lincoln next summer I believe, hopefully we’ll be in L1 by that time so it won’t be a step down for him should we offer him a deal

 

I concur. It wasn’t deliberate damage, it was due to fans standing on seats that were old and in need of replacement.

 

I think perhaps that the clue might be in the wording.....SEAT!

Couldn’t agree more. A shame then that there is a culture nowadays at away games NEVER to SIT on the seat.
My point was though that it wasn’t deliberate kicking of seats that broke them.

 

We were stood yes stood 10 rows back from the front where the vast majority of fans were also stood for some reason, to the left hand side very near the corner, no excuses no matter what state the seats were in, looking at the video above some of our clowns were more than happy to make everyone aware seats had been broken, no doubt the club will get a bill from Tranmere with regards them replacing.

 

Plus he's one of our own.

 

I agree and before he got injured I was thinking that come January I wouldn't complain if we made Barnsley an offer for him. Good age, physicality and attitude and looks like the sort of player fans take to.

 

To be honest you are rarely convinced and I think I will allow the Happy Clappers their day in the sun. For me, I think it is still too early to make a judgement.

 

He was their most threatening player in the first half but then their manager decided to switch formations which completely nullified him and took him out of the game which felt odd to me.

 

The Sanderson situation is a worry as usual (there's been a fall out) is doing the rounds but according to Alexander he's not injured, we know Alexander likes his players to be doing it on the training ground to be in contention for a place in the starting squad so with Sanderson not being involved since being on the bench at Morecambe rightly questions will be asked of a lad who looked to be developing a descent partnership up with Cook and chipping in with the odd goal.
