So did their keeper although he looked to have got a touch he didn’t have enough power to push it over, you'll struggle to see a better header of a football than Andy Cook and I've seen a few over the years.

 

Same here Bronco. I had my jabs on Saturday and felt below par yesterday so opted to watch from the sofa. All fine now though.

 

He played only 1 game for Ebbsfleet, as a sub, before being released in April.

I agree Fordy but we've had a lot of key injuries which have disrupted us. Let's see how we go.

 

The T&A is usually a day and a half behind in reporting, that's technology for you. Remember the days when there were 2 editions of the T&A and you could read your mail over breakfast? How we've moved on.

What happened to Huntingdon not starting last night or not in the squad?

 

We'll never know I suppose but I believe changing before they equalised and being proactive rather than reactive would have seen us stem the tide and probably not concede the equaliser in the first place.

Interesting discourse re: the forwards getting on crosses.

Some of the crossing last night was woeful, I think I saw five in a row overhit by the lads on the right side in the second half.

These things happen though and there's no reason to slam players like Cook or Benn.

We won 3-1, Cook literally headed a Benn cross home, all right not every cross was bang on the money but I think we can live with that. Football isn't about 100 % perfection...

Blaming the crossing/heading situation when it's literally just won us a game by a comfortable 3-1 margin is bananas, guys.

 

If we only had Andrew Davies & Rory McCardle along side Cook at corners.

 

They missed a great performance. Their loss.

 

A great performance? Not sure about that. And I doubt they missed it, I assume they chose to watch it on the box.

 

What was more worrying is that Diabate watched the lad come into the box and then never really gets a challenge in, you know as well as me even at amateur level you make sure the opposition player does not get a run on you never mind a free header Diabate was actually behind the lad Hudlin, as your reply I could never imagine those two allowing a player so much room in the build up.
Watch it here 1:08 minutes in terrible defender but Cooks goal 35seconds in was superb not merely heading the ball whilst under the defender but amazed he managed to get power behind the header, without Cook during the time he's been at our club we would have been in serious trouble.
