Had to leave game early due to the boy not wanting to stay and noticed that the parking warden has been out fishing tickets again.

a number of blue badge holders have got them on Thirncluffe and Midland Road for parking on double yellows with markings on the curbs and then some cars on the pavement outside the tip.

can imagine the blue badge holders not being happy bunnies even though they had broken the rules

 

Really good end to the game there. Gave no chances and didnt come under any real pressure. Well done, lads

 

That was a bit of a grind. Passing was hit and miss but a win is a win. Onwards and upwards. Top of the league.

Anybody else catch sight of Leigh having a go at GA after the final whistle, as they walked onto the pitch? Walker got inbetween.

Leigh obviously unhappy at being subbed. Hopefully a storm in a teacup.

I was just going to post the same thing. I didn’t go to the game as I’m laid up ill but noticed Leigh having a go at GA. Looked a bit out of order from TL to be honest.

 

Spot on Kev. Very satisfying win against an ugly team looking to spoil.

 

GA was looking pretty fierce (over Walker's shoulder). Ready to lamp him.

 

I actually saw one of them park up, get the wheel chair out and edge back as far as possible to try and get off the no parking bit, then double check. So they knew they were parked where they shouldn’t be so no sympathy really to them.
One of them was right next to the disabled parking section on Midland Road, where the road closure bit is. Just the wrong side of the road closure sign

 

McIntyre was excellent, he was taken off because he was cramping up.
@NorthernMonkey favourite player came on and also did a very good job

 

Everyone did well in the last 20 minutes. Really controlled the game and gave them no chance. No late flurry of corners or balls into the box. Excellent way to close out the game.

 

Neufville Is the signing of many seasons by a country mile!

A shout out to Wright too, who has been superb this season.

 

Not our most fluid performance but a wins a win. Pattison needs to be starting in midfield.

 

Clean sheet as well. A very gritty performance by all the lads. Not our usual game. Tommy had words with the manager, no doubt GA will sort it out

Ten games in and I think we have been excellent. I think we will stay up.

 

TBf this changes on a weekly basis. Leigh was by far our best player on the park last week at Cardiff. A shame he went off ill.
