Depends where they are coming from, but google maps has M6, M6 (toll) and M1 as being marginally quicker than the M40 which pulls away west towards Oxford.

 

This week, I wrote a short piece on the history of our games with MK Dons. We've never had a 0-0. The lowest-scoring game was a 1-0 for us, and we usually come out the better of the two. Excited for this game!

Heck, if we can start fast that would be a good thing. Imagine, fast out of the blocks and getting into them. Unlikely though. I'm expecting a mesaured/hesitant/cautious performance from City with us trying to snatch something from a last minute corner/set piece which Smallwood wallops into the only defender in the wall.

 

I agree but at the favourites for the league, in the first match of a 46 game run, I would take a point and a solid controlled display.
Even if we were under the cosh and looked organised and battle well and get a point then that shows promise for tough away days to come.
I've seen a post on other forums showing how teams who start fast fall quick and teams who start slow catch up and pass others, so for me it's looking at this match in other ways, like set up, attitude, can the subs make a difference, no injuries, how do the younger players or the new players perform.

 

I see a few defeatist mentality on this board already. I'll take a draw blah blah... Pathetic.
