Their Gaffer would not last 3 months here, if we reverse the roles from Saturday this forum would be labelling it ineffective, tippy tappy shite. We'd be praising MK for taking their limited chances and holding on to the lead.

Patronising is a word I wouldnt use but hey let’s say they played well but were poor because they couldn’t hit a barn door ?
The idiots allowed a 19 goal a season player go , they can’t then complain about not scoring?
He scored 19 in 35 and sold him ? That’s idiocy and replaced him with Callum Hendry who was anonymous and got subbed. They didn’t need the money . He would probably have made a difference on Sat, as it passed they lost primarily because of it . All the passing between the middle and the back three limited them to six chances at home . We had 5?

Look, at the end of the day we performed the perfect smash & grab then held on to it. Given the number of times we have been on the end of one of those at VP, i'll take that for every away match there is.

Wow the irony. We are about to let a striker leave who score 16 in 25! and replaced him with one who scored 4 in 20.
I really hope we don’t start moaning about lack of goals

Can’t score whilst getting splinters in his arse on the bench can he?
Oliver and Smith have had many more chances in the team than Young and done nothing.
And I fear the same for Bobby Pointon. He’s just too far down the pecking order.

He's scored 2 league goals for us and 2 goals in the EFL Trophy. Total minutes played for us is just 659 minutes, so the equivalent of just over 7 full games and in that time, he's scored 4 goals.

Not a single person on here can honestly say Young has had a fair crack.
The only feasible reason for his exclusion is the managers don’t like his attitude.
I don’t like Jude Bellinghams attitude but I’d still put him in the England team.

There was one ball that would have been a tap in if Halliday hadn't made a brilliant, last gasp sliding tackle to prevent it. Their lad was taking it a bit easy to get to the ball. Think Halliday surprised him.

One ball went across the 6 yard box that Whearne air kicked and it hit his standing leg. Should have scored.

Dennis was almost clean through after Byrne lunged in and missed the ball, went left of a stretching Baldwin and Walker did a good save. The shot should have been on the floor.

Leigh swept over a chance at about the line of the penalty spot. Should have hit the target.

Gilbey was through and wildly shot at the near post and went over when he should have gone across the keeper. Poor decision.

Those were the ones I remembered. Poor finishing and one good save from Walker.

I don’t care if he does have a bit of something about him, good strikers do. It’s the managers job to manage him and I am sure GA has all the skills.

At the end of the day there is only one statistic that actually counts in the match, and that is the final score. It was in our favour!! We may have rode our luck at times with some poor finishing and on another day it could have been different but it wasn't. We've all experienced games where we have played teams off the park and lost the game. Let's be happy with the outcome and move on to the next game.

It’s in the mind isn’t we scored 2 early goals and however much it shouldn’t happen let’s keep what we have got becomes the mindset. It’s the reason a narrow lead in two leg matches are often dangerous

His posts after a win are hardly celebratory.

So, just to make it clear, you didn't actually see the game but you're still refusing to believe the opinion of those that did and potentially questioning their views of the said game?

    Makes sense.

Wouldn't necessarily blame Halliday. He was caught in 2 minds due to a CB being out of position. Once their guy had the run on him, the only way to stop him would have been a pen.

He should have taken a booking OUTSIDE the box once he knew he was losing the foot race .We saw it unfold, yet he couldn’t? It was Hallidays first 90 mins and looked off pace, nothing to do with the central defender until it was far too late imho.

Your non-sensical chipping in isn't helpful. I was answering the OPs question on the chances missed. Try reading back before commenting perhaps.
