That's been the argument against protesting Rupp the whole time. Pretending there is no alternative just because nobody could name the specific entity with the cash flow to buy the club.

    So silly.

The situation is a world apart Jon let’s not hide the fact . Even if BCAFC owned VP, as a real estate asset, it’s worth peanuts compared to the MKD site . It’s on a different planet . Have you been there ?

was lucky enough to watch the game yesterday as it was broadcast in the us....we started brilliantly but honestly we rode our luck for large parts of the game after the 20 minute mark...mk dons had some good chances and it could have easily been a draw or a loss...that being said it's a good result away against a side expected to finish near the top.

    A few years ago, yeah.

Bollocks to MK having more potential than Bradford though. We need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves.

Sure we don't own Jack, but that's why Rupp needs to pull his head out his backside and set a price people will pay. Im not interested in Rupp or his stupid investment. He's lost. He needs to get over it and give the club to someone who wants to run a club.

He deserves to lose millions, he mae a duff purchase. His fault. Not ours.

Being a long term city fan we have lost count of the times we have wanted rid of those in charge of the club and the new messiah to come and take us to glory unfortunately though the new people are just reincarnations of the previous people.
What evidence have you got that any prospective owner is going to produce the money needed to do what everybody wants.
Like it or not any new owners are going to have to meet the price and if they can’t do that they haven’t the money to take us forward. But when it does happen the odds are heavily in favour of business as usual

Business wise that is the opposite of a good idea Jon. You are saying you want someone else to come in and buy a low value asset ? Any astute business person just wouldn’t do that based on an insecure asset that pretty worthless based on land and scrap . metal values. These people aren’t stupid .

Jon Milton Keynes has far and away more potential than Bradford . I just realised what you said . I said it was a wast of investment initially but the population will be on a par with Bradford in 25 -30 years according to the net . Easy commute to London, Bradford is on a branch to bloody nowhere . Bradford is in decline industrially , MKD like the rest of the South , it sucks in investment . So I’m afraid no matter how much we love our home City , we have to be realistic . Facts are facts .

How does our man Mike Ashley operate...? Is he stupid?

He buys brands and intellectual property for millions.

The guys who bought the UFC, Zuffa, bought the name and had to rack up 50 million people debt before they started making money.

You have to get to the top level to be profitable. Spending a few million on the brand to take there is only part of the investment required. Sorry if you can't see that. It's a better buy to purchase the name Bradford City than it is to buy, say, a non league outfit for peanuts.

Also, you say these people aren't stupid enough to buy City.

Was Rupp stupid enough to buy the nothing on offer? And if he was, which he was, does that make him unsuitable?

Yes he was stupid that’s not the discussion . Stupids with money are few and far between likewise anyone with half a brain would realise we are a poor investment compared to MkD’s outlook and potential . Winkleman was clever . Rupp was blindsided by a complete idiot.

If the clubs openly up for sale why are the Carlisle’s and Gills of this world now Mk Dons better options than us ?

Carlisle is a strange one but Wrexham have so much potential given the right owners yesterdays attendance was13,214, l assume that was a sell out, they have the two Liverpool club relatively close but the North Welsh people will back them if they see everyone at the club are pulling the same way and the two owners are certainly putting Wrexham on the map.

Were we not owned by a mega rich Bradford business man, Bradford's richest man with over £300 million .
Jack Tordoff. Hardly put any cash in as far as i am aware.
Would not even stump up £500,000 for Kieth Curle and Andy Townsend, the nearly season, we missed out on the promised land and promplty sold Mccall and Hendrie for £1.5 million and replaced with lesser player's.
Richmond did it on borrowed money and that was almost the death knoll.
Unless someone like me a dyed in the wool City fan wins stupid on the euromillions, i think we will be stuck in this circle for eternity.

City Vent say it's nonsense. He was walking in Malham today apparently.

Edit: which is now confirmed by his wife posting pictures of them walking in the Dales. He wasn't injured.
