Hes a decent player but needs to stop playing the pantomime villian, really needs to focus on delivering for the team

 

He is, I think he could work on the right IF the left hand attacker is a creative player like Bobby.

I think that front 3 we started with yesterday is destined not to work, there's no balance there, it's as close to 3 goalscorers as you can get for us.

I still have some doubts if we're doing him any favours playing him on the right, but I do think he's good enough to do a job there.

He probably loses his place to Phillips in time though, another striker kinda wasted in a setup that only really calls for 1.

 

Probably loses his shirt to Phillips on Thursday IMO.

totally agree to me he is not going to be the wonder striker every one thinks.

 

Swan will likely be demoted to the bench. I expect him to leave on a free in the summer and likely be picked up by a Grimsby-type team in League 2.

 

Perhaps consider changing your username to something less obvious if you're going looking for bites huh?

 

He joined at around the time Swan did, and only ever really mentions him (always positive). Any other player, it is usually something negative about (usually a player who is direct competition for Swan). I'm confident the poster knows him somehow; I find it tedious when friends and relatives get involved in a fan base; it never goes well.

far from the truth buddy so I like swan. how Manny punters on here could not wait to get Jackson sign on the dotted line now those same punters slagging him off.

 

A tad early to write Beesley off. See where the land lies after 10 games or so. I thought he did ok...Powell seems to have a knack of right place right time in the 2 games this season.

May not be too long before our starting 3 are all replaced in the 11.

Phillips and Bobby should both start Thursday. Maybe they bring out a little bit more of Beesley.

Its still amazes me that some people dont understand the concept of a squad. Its almost like injuries, rest, suspension and form isnt a thing and we play the same 11 men every week.

There is the obvious argument for 1 or 2 players who will struggle to make the 18 on a weekly basis but you need a core group 18 players minimum who are all capable of slotting in.

 

On the subject of it being a squad game, I don't understand why we kept Sarce on for the full 96 minutes once the game was in the bag. Surely it would be better to manage his game time as much as possible rather than run him into the ground.

 

Kayden Jackson was very lucky not to be sent off for a second yellow just before he wa subbed off on Saturday

 

Put it another had they taken him off after the 2nd goal and somehow we blew 2 goal lead then the masses would have been in uproar.

 

I suppose you could take that somewhat negative view, but we ought to have the players to see that game out for 20 mins without Sarce. Lapslie for example could have done a job I believe
