Theoretically, is GA going anywhere?

Is that the Preston board?

 

Agreed. Folk are deluding themselves....

• Double his wage with ease
• Much larger playing budget
• Fast tracked to Championship football
• Club he holds dear
• On his doorstep

If they want him, we have no chance of keeping him. Fortunately I don't think they want him.

 

Of course he’s off if they want him. But:

• High release clause.
• Managers out there with championship experience.
  
• Alexander doesn’t play the most championship ‘style’ of football.

All indicate that it’ll be someone else. Not to mention there are sexy names out there like Gerrard who are a big draw.

 

What's the championship style though ????
I get it's all about the passing and possession game but that could be there downfall come the end of the season.

The worrying thing is if either Burnley or PNE do drop that GA will deffo be up there considering what he's done here

 

Why because he played there? There are so many managers out there with success, who don’t need a big release cause meeting. This whole recruiting because a manager played for the club malarkey if fairly rare outside of Julian Rhodes. GA is doing fantastic here and deserves to be on shortlists, but these clubs honestly have dozens of names they look through. I’ll happily donate £100 to the burns unit if Alexander is the next Preston manager, that’s how confident I am.
