    Well done lads to get a result against higher opposition.Next up could be at Chelsea if they get the better of Huddersfield. Let's enjoy their success and hope that we can assemble a strong basis for feeding into a future City1st team. Hopefully something to encourage support.

    Chelsea look much more athletic and quicker than our lads who actually look like kids. That's the biggest difference between the sides before you even think about ability.

    The investment that the top sides makes in sports science, nutrition and physical training is huge. They’re all using conditioning programmes to develop power and size. Many of their young lads eat, train and have recovery managed like aspiring bodybuilders.

    Chelsea beat Huddersfield 4-0 last Tuesday, so City's youth team will take them on in the 4th round.

    Chelsea's under 18s are, arguably, the best youth team in the country, topping the FA premier youth league south, with no defeats this season and they have won the FA Youth cup 7 times in the last 10 seasons.

    So in January 2020, 5 years after City's senior team ventured south for an FA Cup fourth round tie against Chelsea, the youth team will head down to the capital, also to face Chelsea, in the Youth Cup's competition's equivalent round. Like their senior counterparts, they will arrive there in hope, rather than expectation. In the words of Gabby Logan "They couldn't could they?".

    So tomorrow is the big day best of look to the boys, expecting they’ll get comfortably beat but hope not. Still a great achievement to get where they have, looking forward to this more than the first team atm tbh unfortunately.

    Watched the game, that Chelsea team are full of Rolls Royces and our lads never really had a chance. Great achievement from them though so well done boys!

    One thing for sure if they did, those youth players wouldnt be at Bradford City to progress and possibly become first team players :(.

    Those Chelsea lads are a well drilled side. The no 9 should have had a goal just before half time. It will be a good experience for the youth team playing these.

    They have played some decent stuff but you can see the difference just in ball control of the Chelsea lads and the speed they turn defence into attack hope Bowyers taking notes.
