Yes, as I understand it, all the money, less the cost of the banner itself, goes to the Club.

 

Yep which was the main motivation, as I’ve already mentioned there are better and cheaper ways to advertise the forum but this meant helping the club out a little bit. If I had to guess based on what it would cost me to print 2 banners that size at my local printers the club probably made about £450 from it as they would have got a cheaper rate than I could get. Mind you I expect they have so many things printed, especially if they use the same printer for the programmes and other materials they may have got an even greater discount.

 

Sadly Tollys not clever enough for that. Might expect it from a more seasoned Arsehole but as I said earlier, far too blatantly obvious.

I'm glad we had the names of those who donated on there, even if you can't read them on the TV its more about acknowledging each of you were part of it. But doing it again I probably would have done it like





Logo is bigger so should have shown up better and we would have had more room to make the names bigger as well. Most likely wouldn't have seen it on the wide shot still but might have shown better on closer shots. And certainly would have shown even better on the club's photo (where you can read them even as they were) and driving the traffic here people could have seen the images and seen who donated.

I could have also made the white outline wider which may have helped.

But anyway its a good learning experience. And we raised the club some extra funds

 

After the fact. It's pretty easy to be critical of something in hindsight. I've already mentioned myself there is a load of things I would have done differently both if I had more time to work on it (or even if we had been told the colour requirements right away, not an hour before the club needed to have signed them off by as that's a big part of why the Bantam part is tough to read) and after seeing the finished product.

 

It will be something along the lines of this

 

Donated - theres now going to be a max of 21 names on the banner that we are hoping to have ready for the Live Sky match against Harrogate

The banner is 6mtr x 1.5mtr so will be big enough to stand out
