It's also been highlighted that there are issues throughout cricket in general not just at Yorkshire CCC. The thing that I am unhappy with is the call from the ECB for heavy sanctions against Yorkshire CCC in the form of fines and points deduction across all formats. As far as I am aware the players, coaches and administration involved in the perceived racism have now left the club and Yorkshire CCC are now starting to tick the right boxes, something other counties will now have to start doing.
Yorkshire CCC are in the financial poo already so why hit the club hard like this when they are trying to stabilise things. It only hits the club's members, perhaps that's considered okay because most of the members will be 60+ and most people of that age will have views that are not acceptable by today's standards. Even repeats of Dad's Army have a warning for viewers before they start about content that may offend.
On a slightly different subject, I wonder how many people are like me waiting for assault charges to be thrown at Jonny Bairstow for having the audacity to pick up and carry off a protester at the Lords Ashes test match yesterday.

Part 3 of a very interesting read into the Yorkshire/Scotland alleged racism in cricket.
Some serious narratives at play that have seen the destroying of families and their careers but with very little of any evidence at times to back up the claims. Having read quite a lot of correspondence on these cases as an interested observer and a supporter of Yorkshire Cricket I have serious doubts as to the claims of alleged victims and the subsequent action taken after. A lot of lives ruined which weren't even involved and the shameless, and later found to be wrong, sackings of 16 people, even the Scotland coach John Blain found to be not guilty but still being attacked by certain journalists aligned to Azeem Rafiq and even Scotland cricket itself. The whole thing stinks to high hell.
