Over 14,000 there last night? What a load of bull shit. I would be surprised if there were no more than 8,000. So called supporters who didn’t turn out last night because of the cold are pathetic. Get a grip and support the club!

And then loads decided to desert the team and leave when it was 3-3.

Glad they missed the winner and the unreal wild celebrations of those true loyal fans who stayed to the end.

I am sorry they missed it. No City fan should be deprived of that feeling. Perhaps they'll stay next time. I did feel a bit smug though.

I wasn't there as I can rarely make Tuesday night games as kids have evening activities to do which for me during the week are more important.

I'm sure the attendance was bigger last night, than at the back end of last season?

Mr Pathetic here. Sorry but once I'd finished economically contributing to the wellbeing of the country and earning a crust for my family I could only catch the 2nd half on the wireless. Still counted as being there though so all is good. Glad I didn't cause too much disruption by being a seat blocker.

7000 imo. Seats at side of me, in front, and behind were empty.

why do they bother scanning our season tickets on entry, when they count everyone sold as attending, just need to count pay on the night which would have taken 2 mins last night

There are two sets of figures. One they announce and one that is used for safety things eg policing.

Why does the official attendance bother some fans so much? We all know it’s total tickets sold for that particular game and not bums on seats.

Every club follows this model - not just ours.

As for fans not turning up: every fan has their reason’s. I was there, that’s all I care about.

Can't remember the last time we celebrated a goal like that one. Probably the 'moment of the season'.

But the crowd looked even thinner than the dark days of the early season.

On the matter of attendances, the Spurs crowd last night was given as 29164 - given they surely have more season ticket holders alone than that, how come they're not all included there then?

Spurs have circa 28,000 season ticket holders - so they also follow that model.
