    Yep, that is why I asked if they were citizens. Which that article says they were Commonwealth citizens but that is all.

    They were given indefinite leave to remain in 1971. They are British citizens...I don’t care for the pedantry or technicalities, they’re being treated like pieces of shit by a government in pursuit of numbers.

    You might not care about pedantry or technicalities but they are not all British citizens currently. Some are because they applied and completed the paperwork. Some aren't because they didn't

    I wasn't getting into the rights and wrongs of the removal. I was questioning your statement that citizens had been kicked out of the country.

    They shouldn't have been kicked out , but that isn't what you said

    There are 65 MILLION refugees in the world and hundreds of millions of people who want to be economic migrants.

    Are you saying our 'twatish' Government should let them all in?

    And if you answer 'no' then can you tell me how exactly how our 'twatish' Government should decide?

    Maybe we could have an X-Factor style talent contest or why not toss a coin or play one potato two potato.

    Or just maybe our 'twatish' Government should have some rules and laws that we try to follow and implement, coupled with a fair and equitable appeals procedure.

    We’re on about British citizens, mate..People, like you and me...Decent, law abiding, hard working folk, who’ve done absolutely nothing wrong...People (yes, human beings) losing jobs, losing homes, refused healthcare and threatened with deportation because of government policy...That makes this government Twats, in my eyes....Snivelling, dishonest, buck passing TWATS!
